Time out at Dry Creek Ranch and Rabbitry

This is Earl and I running stakes at the local gymkana in July, 1999. Earl can be quick and catty, so you can see why I wear a helmet! I wish more people would wear them at these speed events. I've seen far too many tragedies over the years. Unfortunately, we didn't place in the stake race here. It was cold and rainy. The rain kept getting in my eyes and I knocked down a pole because I just couldn't see well! Oh well, there's always another race on another day!
